Soul of Communication
The
ability to communicate effectively is often an undervalued attribute in a
workplace. In my experience, most employees and middle management personnel are
focused on hitting Key Performance Index (KPI) and ensuring operations run
smoothly. I believe that the success of any organisation hinges on its
employee’s ability to communicate effectively. It is crucial for everyone
because it can help to minimise unneeded problems and improve job performance.
Both listening and speaking are important aspects when it comes to
communication. Hence, it is important to listen attentively and speak
clearly.
Critical thinking also has an important role to play in
communication. In communication, it is essential to provide context as it helps
the audience to follow along with your thought process and reply. As a result,
it is vital to provide clarity and precision as part of critical thinking.
In conclusion, critical thinking and communication will both
play a significant role in making our generation as future leaders in the
workplace.
